Equine (Horse) Facilitated Experiential Programs in Santa Fe, New Mexico

The Institiute of the Southwest offers creative, custom-designed experiential programs, specially crafted to serve the specific needs of your group. Using simple, powerful exercises – in relationship with horses, in circle and in nature, with storytelling, creative play and deep interactive explorations – our horse-assisted program will deepen, enrich, enliven and vitalize your experience.

Horses have an innate capacity to feel the intention of those around them, as well as connect to others whom they trust. This makes them excellent companions in the exploration of the non-verbal realms of communication, relationship, intention, authority, self-understanding and leadership. Horses offer direct, immediate and unbiased feedback. They invite us into more authenticity, grounded in being present with ourselves, our co-workers, family and friends, and life itself. Ours is the only program of its kind that provides an opportunity of this calibre, offering superior facilitation and unique approaches to learning, within a luxurious resort setting.

Note: All horse activities are on the ground, no previous equine experience is necessary.
